Velo-One Cycling Team was launched in Lincolnshire in late 2015 with two key aims; to support riders to achieve success and to increase awareness of Type 1 diabetes.
Stronger Together
In terms of the first aim, V1 has set out to develop a great team ethic built around the belief that as riders we are ‘Stronger Together‘ and that this in turn helps to encourage new talent, riders and sponsors to maximise their involvement in the sport.
Having fun on and off the bike is important to the Velo-One team and ‘Le Gruppetto’ is the social arm of the club. Throughout the year, Le Gruppetto organises events from social rides to evening entertainment. You can keep up with future events by following the V1 Twitter feed or liking the Facebook page.
#TackleType1
Velo-One Cycling have riders, family and friends affected by Type 1 diabetes. As an official supporter, we aim to improve awareness of Type 1 diabetes and raise funds for JDRF.
JDRF is the type 1 diabetes charity, improving lives until we find the cure. JDRF fund research to cure, treat and prevent type 1 diabetes.
